Commission Reports
This guide explains how to view and manage commission reports for verification requests completed through bankVOD. Use this tool to track earnings and analyze your institution's verification activity.
Accessing Commission Reports
From the Control Panel, click Commission Reports under the Manage Account section. This will display the Commission Reports page.
Understanding the Commission Reports Table
The Commission Reports table displays the following information:
- Bank – The name of the bank or department that processed the verification
- Period – The date range or billing period for the commission
- Type – The type of verification service that generated the commission (e.g., Verification of Deposit, Verification of Mortgage, Business Inquiries)
Viewing Commission Reports
When commission data is available, the table will populate with records showing your institution's earnings for completed verification requests.
When No Records Are Available
If the table displays "No records to display," this indicates:
- No commission reports have been generated for the current period
- Your institution has not yet completed any billable verification requests
- Reports may still be processing
Filtering and Refreshing Data
Using the Filter
Click the Filter icon (funnel) next to the Refresh button to narrow down commission reports by:
- Specific banks or departments
- Date ranges or periods
- Verification types
Refreshing the Report
Click the Refresh button to reload the most current commission data. This is useful when:
- Checking for newly processed commissions
- Updating the report after completing verification requests
- Ensuring you have the latest information
Pagination and Page Size
At the bottom of the Commission Reports table:
- Use the page navigation buttons (first, previous, page number, next, last) to move between pages when multiple records exist
- Adjust the Page size dropdown to change how many records display per page (default is 10)
- The total count shows how many commission records exist (e.g., "0 items in 1 pages")
Exporting Commission Reports
To export commission data for accounting or analysis purposes:
- Ensure the desired filters are applied
- Look for an export or download option (typically appears when records are available)
- Select your preferred format (CSV, Excel, or PDF)
- Save the file to your computer
Note: Export functionality may only be available when commission records exist.
Understanding Commission Calculations
Commissions are typically calculated based on:
- The type of verification service provided
- The number of verification requests completed
- Any negotiated rates in your bankVOD service agreement
- The time period in which verifications were completed
