Manage Users

This guide explains how to add, update, and manage authorized users in your bankVOD account. Supervisors and administrators can use these tools to control user access and permissions.

Accessing the Manage Users Screen


From the Control Panel, click Manage Users under the Manage Account section. This will display the Authorized Users page showing all current users in your institution.


Viewing Existing Users


The Authorized Users page displays a table with the following information for each user:

  • Profile – User role (Supervisor, User, Supervisor (limited), or Profile Manager)
  • First Name – User's first name
  • Last Name – User's last name
  • Login – Username for logging into bankVOD
  • Email – User's email address
  • Created Date – Date the user account was created
Searching for Users

Use the search fields at the top of the table to find specific users:

  1. Enter a name in the Name field, or
  2. Enter an email address in the Email field
  3. Click Search to filter results
Exporting User Data

Click the User Report button in the upper right to export a list of all authorized users to a spreadsheet.


Adding a New User


To create a new authorized user account:

  1. Click Add New Authorized User at the top of the page
  2. The Authorized User form will open
Complete User Information

Enter the following required information:

  • First Name – User's first name
  • Last Name – User's last name
  • Email – User's email address (use your institution's domain, e.g., @bankvod.com)
  • Login – Create a unique username (typically follows a naming convention like firstname_department_bank_role)
  • Password – Leave blank for auto-generated password, or enter a custom password
Select User Profile

Choose the appropriate user profile from the dropdown menu:

  • User – Standard access for processing verification requests
  • Supervisor – Full access to manage orders and users
  • Supervisor (limited) – Limited supervisory access
  • Profile Manager – Manages user profiles and permissions
Assign Department Access
  1. Department Type – Select the department type from the dropdown (e.g., COMMERCIAL, CONSUMER)
  2. Department Selection – Check the box(es) for the specific department(s) this user can access:
    • Demo Bank
    • Demo Equipment Finance
    • Demo Government Finance
    • Other departments as applicable

The system will display the number of items checked (e.g., "2 items checked").

Submit the New User

Click the Submit button to create the user account. The new user will receive login credentials and can access bankVOD according to their assigned profile and department permissions.


Updating an Existing User


To modify an existing user's information:

  1. Locate the user in the Authorized Users table
  2. Click Update in the rightmost column for that user
  3. The Authorized User form will open with the user's current information pre-filled
  4. Make any necessary changes to:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Login
    • Password
    • User Profile
    • Department Type
    • Department Selection
  5. Click Submit to save changes


Deleting a User


To remove a user's access:

  1. Locate the user in the Authorized Users table
  2. Click Delete in the rightmost column for that user
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Note: Deleted users will no longer be able to access the bankVOD system.


Pagination and Page Size


At the bottom of the Authorized Users table:

  • Use the page navigation buttons (first, previous, page number, next, last) to move between pages
  • Adjust the Page size dropdown to change how many users display per page (default is 10)
  • The total count shows how many users exist (e.g., "20 items in 2 pages")
