4506-C IRS Tax Transcripts
4506-C IRS Tax Transcripts provide official IRS tax return transcripts for income verification purposes in mortgage lending. This service is essential for verifying self-employed borrower income, complex income situations, and validating tax return information submitted during the loan application process.

Step 1: Ensure You're Credentialed
- If not credentialed, contact Support first (support@bankvod.com)
- Cannot proceed without credentials
Step 2: Start Your Order
- Log in to bankVOD
- Click ORDER A VERIFICATION
- Find 4506-C IRS Tax Transcripts card
- Click blue Select button
- If credentialed, you'll proceed to order form
Step 3: Complete the Order Form
Your Information:
- Your Name: First and Last
- Your Email: Where transcripts will be sent
- Date: Today's date
- Tracking Number: Loan file number
Borrower Information:
- Full Name: EXACTLY as filed with IRS
- Use "Robert" not "Bob"
- Match tax return exactly
- SSN: Full 9-digit Social Security Number
- Current Address: Where borrower lives now
- Previous Addresses: All addresses during tax years requested
Tax Years to Request:
- Check box or enter each year needed
- Examples: 2024, 2023, 2022
- Most common: 2 most recent years
Step 4: Upload Form 4506-C
REQUIRED - Must Upload:
- Signed Form 4506-C from borrower
- Must have original signature
- Dated within 120 days
- All required fields completed
- Clear, legible scan (300 DPI minimum)
Also Upload:
- Copy of borrower's ID
- Social Security card copy
- Any supporting documents
Step 5: Select Payment & Submit
Calculate Your Cost:
- Count tax years requested
- First year: $13.00
- Each additional: $7.00
Review:
✓ Borrower name matches tax return exactly✓ All addresses included
✓ Form 4506-C uploaded
✓ Form is signed and dated
✓ Tax years correct
Submit and save confirmation number
